LFNC President Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune expressed his gratitude for the valuable assistance provided by the Party, State, and people of Vietnam to Laos during its past struggle for national liberation and current national construction and development.
The front leader pledged to continue closely coordinating with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to support and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese residents in Laos in their work and daily lives.
President Lam commended the cooperation results between the LFNC and the VFF and other Vietnamese partners and highlighted the cooperation agreement for 2022-2026 signed by the two fronts. He suggested that the LFNC work closely with Vietnam to effectively implement collaboration agreements in various areas such as public mobilisation as well as religious and ethnic affairs.
On the same day, the Vietnamese State leader also met with Boviengkham Vongdala, Chairman of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, and other leaders of the association.
Underscoring the strong relationship between his association and the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, Boviengkham Vongdala said he is committed to further promoting the nations’ friendship, solidarity, and people-to-people exchange.
President To Lam reiterated the highest priority Vietnam gives to strengthening and nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Laos. He urged the association to continue working with Lao authorities to support the Vietnamese community here so that they could contribute positively to the host nation’s prosperity.
Stressing the crucial role and influence of the Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam Friendship Associations in reinforcing and enhancing the bilateral special relationship, he expressed his hope that these associations will continue to serve as important bridges in fostering the ties.
