This year’s event was particularly special as 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of Australia-Vietnam relations.
Australia’s Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms Sarah Hooper, said: "The 2023 Taste of Australia program showcases the very best of Australian food and beverages. It builds on Australia’s international reputation as a supplier of high quality, safe and sustainable produce".
Taste of Australia 2023 invited attendees to experience Australian food and culture and highlighted the sophisticated and versatile Australian produce and products available in Vietnam.
This year’s program included a variety of dishes by four leading chefs, coordinated and curated by Australian-Vietnamese celebrity chef and Taste of Australia Ambassador Luke Nguyen. First Nations Australian musician Isaiah Firebrace performed at the event, showcasing the diversity and creativity of modern Australia.
