Essex lorry tragedy updates: All 39 victims are Vietnamese
Competent authorities of Vietnam and the UK have identified that all 39 victims of the Essex lorry tragedy are Vietnamese, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on behalf of the Government of Vietnam, just extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims who lost their life in a far way land.
This is not only the boundless sorrow of the families of the victims but also the shared sorrow of the whole community and each of Vietnamese, Phuc said.
He asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, relevant agencies and localities to coordinate closely with the UK side to take the victims home soon.
The Government chief strongly condemns human trafficking and illegal sending of Vietnamese people abroad while calling on countries across the globe to continue accelerating cooperation in fighting this kind of crime and bringing those responsible to justice.
PM Phuc also highly valued the UK side's close coordination with the Vietnamese authorities throughout the investigation process.
