The passengers include children aged 18 and below, senior citizens, and students whose dormitories were shut down due to the virus.
Upon arrival, all passengers and the crew members underwent health checks before being taken to quarantine facilities.
Earlier, on the way to France, Vietnam Airlines transported medical equipment and materials as gifts of Vietnam for France.
Vietnam has worked with the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Canada and the US to organize flights to bring its citizens home as commercial flights have been temporarily halted due to COVID-19.
A flight to take Vietnamese citizens in the US home is expected to take off in San Francisco, California, the US on May 7.
