75 years of Vietnam-Romania diplomatic relations
WVR - Vietnam and Romania enjoy traditional friendship and cooperation with a rich history spanning 75 years (1950-2025). Bilateral relations are developing in all fields, including politics, diplomacy, economics, security and defence, culture, and education and training.
Vietnam and Romania established diplomatic relations on February 3, 1950. The political trust and cooperation between the two countries over the past 75 years have been continuously strengthened. The two sides maintain high-level visits and exchanges at the ministerial and sectoral levels. In addition to political relations, the traditional friendship between the two countries continues to develop strongly in many fields, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of each country.
