Reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,577 VND/USD on February 17, up 15 VND
WVR/VNA - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,577 VND/USD on February 17, up 15 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,806 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,348 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw decreases.
At 8:23am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,220 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,580 VND/USD, both down 50 VND from the February 14 morning session.
BIDV also cut both rates by 10 VND, listing the buying rate at 25,220 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,580 VND/USD.
