Typhoon Yagi leaves Hanoi devastated
Due to the impact of typhoon Yagi, many trees in Hanoi were broken and uprooted. The heavy rains are likely to cause flooding on many inner city streets with a common depth of 20-40cm.

Typhoon Yagi made landfall in Hanoi on Saturday evening, bringing powerful winds of 89-102 kilometers per hour and heavy rainfall. The storm caused widespread flooding and downed numerous trees.

It is forecast that from 9pm to 12am on Saturday, the inner city of Hanoi and surrounding areas will continue to have moderate to heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 50-100mm, with some places exceeding 150mm.
